Braintree track: Alves finishes fourth in N.E.'s

06/14/11 Kelin Alves faced the best and the worst of it this past weekend at the 66th New England Interscholastic Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Burlington High School in Burlington, Vt. This was his final meet of the season and career and he was up against the best javelin throwers in the region.

Young immigrants celebrate success at King St. Center

06/18/11 Mellow music floated out into the warm summer evening, and teenagers sampled a buffet featuring fou-fou, samosas and other African favorites. The party Wednesday night at the King Street Center celebrated, a bit early, the graduation ceremony at Burlington High School set for Friday.

07/03/11 Burlington High School's Khanishah Williams is The Hawk Eye's 2011 Female Prep Athlete of the Year. Williams will be on the track and field team at Iowa next season.
