Two-Time UMD NCAA Champion Inducted into NSIC Hall of Fame

06/21/11 Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Kerrick Johnson, the only two-time national individual champion University of Minnesota Duluth athletics has ever produced in its 80-year history, will join six other enshrinees on July 13 when the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Hall of Fame holds its 2011 induction ceremonies.

Sports briefs: Meyer to enter NSIC hall of fame

06/23/11 Former Northern State men's basketball coach Don Meyer is among seven people chosen for induction into the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference hall of fame. The other inductees are Julie (Thein) Boom of Southwest Minnesota State, Trip Hedrick of Bemidji State, Kerrick Johnson of Minnesota-Duluth, Mike Berg of MSU Moorhead, Jim Hazewinkel of St. Cloud State and Nate Gruber of Winona State.
