 01/22/10 Eric Hensch's 25-foot 3-pointer at the buzzer lifted Harrisburg to a 52-49 win over Lennox in boys basketball action Thursday night in Lennox. Hensch led the Tigers (6-4) with 22 points while Patrick Draisey added 19. Keegan Mechels and Chris Kruse each scored 11 points for Lennox (5-5). Ryan Pingrey had five assists.

01/12/10 Sioux Falls Christian shot 64.7 percent from the field in the second half to defeat Elk Point-Jefferson 74-56 in the championship game of the Big Sioux Conference boys basketball tournament Monday in Elk Point. The top-ranked Class A Chargers led 28-26 at halftime. Matt VandeKamp led SFC (6-0) with 25 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists and six steals. Christian Skinner had 13 points.

12/22/09 Darin Bartscher scored 20 points as Bridgewater-Emery beat Canistota 62-55 in overtime on Monday night in Bridgewater in boys basketball action. Brandon Schwans added 15 points and Brandon Berg added 12, including a basket with two seconds left to tie the score in regulation for Bridgewater-Emery (2-2, 1-1). Tyson Kaiser grabbed 10 rebounds for Bridgewater-Emery.
