Wind energy: Titan I Wind Farm provides green energy in Huron area

05/07/10 Strong winds have made life a bit challenging off and on this spring, but they are also spinning the blades of a new Ree Heights wind farm and providing plenty of green energy in east central South Dakota.

10/13/10 A family with South Dakota roots is continuing its award-winning rodeo tradition. For the third year in a row, pro cowboy Trell Etbauer of Goodwell, Okla., has won the Linderman Award. The son of Sue and Robert Etbauer, Trell grew up in the Ree Heights/Miller area with brothers Dan and Billy.

Leola L. Steele

05/27/11 Leola L. Steele, 93, of Wenatchee, WA, died with family at her side, Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at RiverWest Assisted Living Facility. She was born to Minnie and Bruce Wyant in Maskell, NE, on February 9, 1918, moving to Ree Heights, SD, as a young child.
