Sports briefs: Meyer to enter NSIC hall of fame

06/23/11 Former Northern State men's basketball coach Don Meyer is among seven people chosen for induction into the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference hall of fame. The other inductees are Julie (Thein) Boom of Southwest Minnesota State, Trip Hedrick of Bemidji State, Kerrick Johnson of Minnesota-Duluth, Mike Berg of MSU Moorhead, Jim Hazewinkel of St. Cloud State and Nate Gruber of Winona State.

07/08/11 BEMIDJI, Minn. - Bemidji State's inaugural hockey season as a member of the WCHA was an unqualified success in the opinions of the players, coaches and fans. The excitement generated by the upgraded competitive level of the opponents and the move to the Sanford Center made last winter a season to remember.
