Ed foundation member resigns to mull run against Janet Clark

06/06/11 Elliott W. Stern announced his resignation today from the Pinellas Education Foundation board of directors, saying he wanted to avoid the perception of a conflict of interest as he explores a run for Janet Clark's school board seat. Stern is a retired executive from Raymond James. He was also the ed foundation's project manager for the Jacobson Culinary Arts Academy at Tarpon Springs High. Here ...

AUSD mulls over modernizing or moving AJHS

06/27/11 Atascadero Junior High School, originally built in 1947, and Atascadero Fine Arts Academy are in need of enough work that the Atascadero Unified School District is weighing whether to remodel the buildings or move the schools to a whole new site on San Benito Road.
