07/10/11 The sun did come up in Gallatin County Sunday morning, contrary to what many believed following the traffic jam that ensnared thousands of NASCAR Sprint Cup fans on Interstate 71 and side roads leading to the Kentucky Speedway for Saturday's Quaker State 400.

Governor pledges to work with Kentucky Speedway on traffic

07/11/11 Gov. Steve Beshear said Sunday he will work with officials at Kentucky Speedway to address the traffic flow and parking problems that plagued Saturday's NASCAR Quaker State 400.
