    07/12/11 L. Ben Dean, Jr., 85, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, died Friday, June 17, 2011, in Asheville. He was our hero. Ben was born on November 4, 1925, in Bainbridge, Ga., to Lola Dollar Dean and Leonard Ben Dean, Sr. He is predeceased by one brother and five sisters.
