Fugitive arrested, another on the run

06/05/11 The North Platte Telegraph A fugitive from Lexington has been arrested. According to Gary Reiber, Dawson County sheriff, Walter Rojas-Argueta, 26, was apprehended at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at a home in Lexington. The arrest was a joint effort by the sheriff's office and the Lexington Police Department.

Deadly Weekend On Kentucky Roads

06/26/11 It has been a deadly weekend on area roadways. Lexington Police say 26-year-old Amber Fields died in a car crash on I-75 southbound near the 102 milemarker around 6 Saturday evening. One lane of I-75 had to be shut down until the accident was cleared. Police say Fields blew a tire and crashed into an embankment.
