Open space program out of money

06/12/11 Growing Greener is almost out of green. The state program providing funds to preserve open space and protect the environment for more than a decade is broke. In an effort to keep the program alive, state Rep. Kate Harper, R-61, held a town hall meeting June 2 to urge residents and municipal officials to push legislators to come up with a dedicated funding source for it.
