Race runners dash to Hoodlebug Summerfest 5K

07/07/11 Homer City's 14th Annual Hoodlebug Summerfest on Sunday will feature the Hoodlebug 5K race, 3.1-mile route, that begins and ends at Floodway Park and is open to runners and walkers of all ages.

Homer City preps for new police pact

07/07/11 At its monthly meeting, Homer City Council selected two of its own members, Kate Yancy and Matt Black, along with Mayor Ken "Cal" Cecconi and Solicitor Pat Dougherty to serve on the new police contract negotiating committee, which is expected to meet a few times before the contract expires in December.
