Young Achiever: Erin Sebastian

06/22/11 Young Achiever Erin Sebastian, 13, of Sewickley, who enjoys lacrosse, skiing, basketball, student council, reading, drawing, and Taekwondo, won second place in the Pennsylvania National History Day Contest for her exhibit on Vidkun Quisling and his negotiations with Adolph Hitler for a Nazi takeover of Norway.

Green on all-state track team

07/16/11 Two-time PIAA state champion Matt Green from Belle Vernon Area High School was the only WPIAL male athlete to be named to the Pennsylvania Track and Field Coaches Association Outdoor All-State Team.
