100 more troops welcomed home in Cedar Falls

07/18/11 The homecomings of Iowa's Army National Guard soldiers continue.  About 100 troops returned to Cedar Falls Monday.

07/18/11 Kyle Billings, son of Terry and Melinda Billings of Gordo, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve on May 16 and departed for recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C., on July 11. Billings is a graduate of Gordo High School. He was enlisted by Staff Sgt. R. M. Anderson from the Tuscaloosa recruiting substation.

TN Guard units called up; Soldiers based in Trenton, Union City will leave in August for Afghanistan

07/19/11 About 300 soldiers in West Tennessee units of the Army National Guard are preparing to be deployed to Afghanistan.
