ELEW Gathers Entertainers for Rockjazz For Japan

03/23/11 Rockjazz pianist ELEW today announced the details of an upcoming benefit he is holding on Thursday, March 31 at the Gramercy Theater in New York City, in cooperation with Live Nation and Party With Purpose to benefit the relief efforts of humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders and Save The Children for victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami.

The Mountain Goats Raffle Off Rarities for Charity

05/12/11 Back in March, the Mountain Goats auctioned off a single-song demo tape to aid the post-earthquake Japan relief efforts. (That auction raised $3,350 for Doctors Without Borders .) Now, the group has another benefit project underway. They're offering up a prize pack for raffle , with proceeds going to the Women's Medical Fund .
