06/04/11 Riley Canon has accepted an appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy. U.S. Rep. Pat Tiberi (R-Genoa Township) made the nomination. Canon will graduate from Johnstown Monroe High School and will enter the academy in the fall as a member of the Class of 2015.

3-year-old's leg amputated after lawn mower accident

06/30/11 GENOA TOWNSHIP - Doctors had to amputate the left leg of a 3-year-old Genoa Township girl after her grandfather Wednesday accidentally ran over her with a John Deere riding lawnmower.
