    05/11/11 PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - A Portland-area woman is suing a man she dated, claiming he gave her genital herpes. She says the man failed to tell her he had the virus or to use a condom. The lawsuit filed in Multnomah County Circuit Court seeks $1.1 million. The Oregonian reports people are rarely prosecuted for knowingly transmitting herpes.
