Steps taken now to help ward off mosquito viruses

07/09/11 Last summer was a time of concern for North Andover public health officials. There were 12 findings of West Nile virus in mosquitoes found in North Andover between June 30 and mid-September, leading the town to spray twice in an attempt to prevent the virus from spreading to humans.

North Andover Legion breaks out

07/11/11 North Andover's American Legion team smacked 15 hits last night with one of its best offensive performances of the summer en route to defeating Methuen 11-7. Mike Borzi pitched a complete game for North Andover (4-8), striking out five and giving up nine hits.
