Blue Ledge mine breach halts cleanup

08/20/10 An excavator removing contaminated tailings from an old copper mine high in the Applegate River drainage breached an unmapped tunnel filled with water on Wednesday, raising fears that toxic materials may have made their way into a nearby creek.
