 09/25/09 A Canute man has drowned after falling out of a boat on Lake Eufaula. Eddie J. Edler, 62, fell overboard around 1:50 p.m. on Thursday while standing up in a 22-foot Voyager pontoon boat, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
 09/25/09 A Canute man drowned Thursday afternoon on Lake Eufaula in the Highline Cove area in McIntosh County, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report. Eddie J. Edler, 62, drowned at approximately 1:50 p.m. He was on a 2003 22-foot Voyager pontoon boat operated by James L. Edler, 68, also of Canute.
