Henryetta man injured in accident

07/16/11 A Henryetta man was injured after being hit by a car, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Christopher Flagg, 19, was walking northbound in the southbound lane of Mulberry Road, about 19 miles west and five miles south of Checotah late Thursday.

Woodward woman killed in car wreck

07/14/11 A Woodward woman was killed Thursday in a one-vehicle accident in Blaine County. Darlene Johnston, 69, died of injuries suffered in the crash, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report. The accident happened at 1:46 p.m. on U.S. 270 12 miles west of Watonga.
