 08/14/09 A sports icon from the province steps into the honour's circle again today. Don Johnson, who is already a member of the national and provincial hockey hall of fame, will be inducted into the Canada Games Hall of Honours. The ceremony takes place in Summerside, PEI today.
 08/13/09 It's taken longer than expected, but the new playground and splash park at Bowring Park will officially open September 1st. The city's manager of streets and parks, Jim Clarke, says the project cost close to a million dollars, with the city matching funds raised by the Bowring Park Foundation.
