Other news06/26/10 A 32-year-old officer at Tuttle Creek State Park died early Saturday in an all-terrain vehicle crash at the Country Stampede near Manhattan, becoming the second fatality at the country music festival this week, authorities said. The fatality victim was identified as Luke D. Nihart, of St. George, an 11-year veteran of Kansas Wildlife and Parks. read more
06/30/10 Tuttle Creek State Park ranger Luke D. Nihart was killed early on Saturday, June 26, in an ATV accident while working at the park. Nihart, 32, of rural St. George, was working through the night at the park, which was full of campers attending the four-day Country Stampede music concert event.
