    Rural Transit Office has Moved to Orchard Park

    03/31/11 The local office of Rural Transit Service, previously located in the Aurora Highway Department, has been relocated to the Orchard Park Senior Center at 70 Linwood Ave.. The Orchard Park site will now schedule transportation for residents of Aurora, Elma, Marilla, Wales, Orchard Park, Boston, Colden and Eden.

    Trooper Makes Cocaine Arrest in Elma

    03/06/11 Shortly before 2:30 on the afternoon of Mon., Feb. 28, New York State Trooper Thomas Hathaway stopped a vehicle on Girdle Road in Elma. Upon searching the vehicle, the trooper reportedly discovered an electronic scale and teaspoon with cocaine residue behind the dash. He arrested the driver, a 33-year-old Elma man.
