07/11/11 This Saturday, the Elma Village Green Park will have a large contingent of people walking and bicycling to raise money for the Independence Foundation with its annual fundraiser. The money goes to help individuals with physical disabilities to live independently.

07/08/11 The East Aurora Street Festival & Sidewalk Sale on Saturday, July 30 will provide an opportunity for young entrepreneurs to register for the event and sell their own wares on the street at the Operation Kids space. Dobson was killed in the line of duty on the morning of Sat., March 26 while conducting a vehicle and traffic stop on Interstate 290 in Tonawanda, when he was struck by a passing motorist. Dobson, a 1985 graduate of Iroquois Central High School, was a 14-year veteran of the State Police.
