LOFPD Extinguish LOPD in Guns and Hoses Game

03/22/11 The Lake Ozark Fire Protection District used speed and depth to outlast its rival boys in blue in the town's first ever "Guns and Hoses" basketball game. The firefighters defeated the Lake Ozark Police Department 72-44 in a Friday night charity game. The contest served to help Citizens Against Domestic Violence, Kids' Harbor, and Shop with a Fireman.

Ozark fire chief to retire Sunday after 34 years

04/28/11 After 34 years of service in the Ozark Fire Department and around 15 years as chief, Ozark Fire Chief Dempsey Barefield is expected to retire next week.
