New Diana band heads to capital for national parade

06/29/11 DIANA (KYTX) -- Some East Texas high schoolers are taking the national stage for one of the biggest Fourth of July celebrations in the country. The New Diana marching band, consisting of 49 students, will play in the National Independence Day Parade. They'll march in the National Independence Day Parade for one big "happy birthday" celebration.

YPSILANTI: Independence Day Parade route changed due to construction

06/30/11 The traditional route for the annual Ypsilanti Independence Day Parade travels east on Cross Street heading into Depot Town, but because of road construction city officials have asked parade organizers to make a last-minute change to the festival route.
