Other news07/08/11 New Jersey Transit says rail service on the Northeast Corridor line has been suspended in both directions between New York Penn Station and Trenton due to a person being killed by a train in Woodbridge.
07/09/11 New York Last year, NJ TRANSIT launched the Quiet Commute program in certain cars, to test its feasibility with commuters on the railways. After receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers, NJ TRANSIT expanded the program at the beginning of this year to include all peak-period, peak-direction trains that begin or end their trips at New York Penn Station or Newark Penn Station.
