07/08/11 Two people were flown from the scene and another was taken to a local hospital by ambulance after a serious accident Thursday evening at the intersection of Guitner and Stone Bridge roads. Emergency crews were dispatched at 5:11 p.m. and both roads were shut down for several hours after the crash, according to information from Franklin County Emergency Services.
07/16/11 St. Clair County Community College's Fire and Emergency Services Institute has added firefighter training to their curriculum. A new firefighter academy program will run from Sept. 6 to Nov. 11, 2011. Classes will meet 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Hot themes this week:
