    Fishing open at DeSoto Refuge

    05/10/11 Anglers fishing at DeSoto Wildlife Refuge have found some success with walleye and catfish. The majority of fishing activity has been concentrated near the Middle Boat Ramp at Lake View Drive. Due to high water, the boat ramps at south recreation area and at the Bertrand access are closed. Anglers are reminded there is a minimum size limit of 15-inches for walleye and the daily bag limit is four.
