07/19/11 An early morning dip in the ocean off a South Florida beach turned into big surprise for a couple of beachgoers when a curious manatee got a bit too close for comfort.

07/19/11 Sam Huff was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1982. Huff, a Middleburg resident, played in the National Football League from 1956 through 1969 as a linebacker with the New York Giants and the Washington Redskins.

AOA supports efforts to prevent traumatic brain injury in athletes

07/18/11 Hoping that amateur and professional sports leagues will follow a path similar to that of the National Football League with its recent tightening of rules surrounding head injuries, members of the American Osteopathic Association's (AOA) House of Delegates voted today to support efforts to prevent traumatic brain injury (TBI) in athletes at the school, sports club, and professional levels.
