07/14/11 Kelcey Carlson of Raleigh was the female winner of the Grandfather Mountain Marathon Saturday with a time of 3 hours, 13 minutes, 12 seconds. Some 400 runners took part in the grueling 26.2-mile uphill race as part of the 56th annual Grandfather Mountain Highland Games.
