Slain priest laid to rest

07/16/11 The body of slain priest Edward Everitt was laid to rest in Hammond, LA. A funeral was held Saturday afternoon for Father Everitt at his parish, the Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Friday night, hundreds turned out to a visitation at the church to say their final goodbyes to the priest.

07/16/11 Dolores L. Weinzierl of Waconia passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 at the Auburn Home in Waconia. Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waconia with Father Martin Shallbetter as celebrant of the Mass. Interment at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
