05/03/11 From the Mississippi Highway Patrol 1. Specific supplies that were requested for the Smithville area: shelf milk, baby formula, and extension cords . The Point of Distribution (POD) is open from 8am-6pm for storm victims. The POD is located behind the Piggly Wiggly on Industrial Street.

Racine man expected to be charged with attempted homicide for beating wife in parking lot

06/08/11 Man arrested after fleeing to Illinois A Racine woman is in grave condition after receiving a brutal beating from her husband 35-year-old Marlon Duffie in a Piggly Wiggly parking lot. The woman might have died in front of her children, if bystanders didn't step in to help.
