Keota wins grant for wastewater collection

07/15/11 A Haskell County community has received state funding to repair its wastewater collection system. The Oklahoma Water Resources Board approved a $96,000 Rural Economic Action Plan grant requested by the Keota Public Works Authority, said J.D. Strong, executive director of the state agency. The grant will be supplemented with $3,999 in local funds, ledgers reflect.
