06/06/11 Jessica Maroszek (Seymour): The freshman at the University of Kansas qualified for the NCAA Division I outdoor track and field championships in Des Moines, Iowa, by finishing in third place in the discus with a throw of 176 feet, 11 inches at the NCAA West Regional in Eugene, Ore.

Senior Citizens undertake body screening to mark Republic Day

07/02/11 Wa, July 2, GNA - The Upper West Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) and the Wa Municipal Health Directorate, organised body screening exercises for 50 senior citizens, who attended this year's Senior Citizens Day in Wa on Friday, to mark the Republic Day celebration.
