    06/29/11 Longtime lesbian activist Jean Harris died at her home in Palm Springs, California on Saturday, June 25. She was 66. Ms. Harris had been experiencing multiple health issues, a posting on her Facebook page said, but her death was unexpected. The cause of death is not yet known.
