Thornbury?s EM Appointment Sparks Heated Discussion

06/29/11 Filling the Emergency Management position for the city turned into a heated discussion Monday at the BOCC?meeting. Commissioner Newt Stephens of District No. 1 motioned to appoint Roscoe Thornbury. He believes Thornbury to be well qualified, a people person, and one who has done his homework.
