Nevada State College President Fred Maryanski dies

07/02/10 Nevada State College President Fred J. Maryanski, credited with transforming the school into a viable and respected institution, died Friday evening. He was 63. Maryanski died at Nathan Adelson Hospice surrounded by family and friends.

03/28/11 Nathan Adelson Hospice president and CEO Carole Fisher was named a 2011 Leadership inductee for the sixth annual Women's Hall of Fame. The Women's Chamber of Commerce of Nevada Foundation selects the honorees, and it chose Fisher because of her placement as a finalist for the Athena Leadership Award.
