LEAP study aid available for students

03/25/11 With statewide testing a little less than a month away, Bogalusa City School District Superintendent Ruth Horne wants to make sure teachers, parents and students are aware of available study resources and that everyone is working together to make sure students perform well when state testing occurs during the two phases on March 22 and April 11-15.

Vitter hosts town hall meeting in Bogalusa

06/01/11 The courtroom at Bogalusa City Hall was packed to overflowing when U.S. Senator David Vitter hosted a Town Hall meeting Tuesday, but about a third of a group of approximately 30 Rayburn Correctional Center employees who are concerned for their jobs walked out after they realized Vitter does not have specific influence on the state budget.
