Dupre offers plot of land for Veterans' Memorial

07/17/11 Pat Mason-Guillory, St. Landry Parish Veterans Memorial chairperson, shares notes and photographs with committee members during a special meeting called on Friday, July 15. On the agenda was a discussion concerning two acres of land on La 182 offered to the committee by local businessman Bobby Dupre.

Juvenile jail goes to Bunkie

07/19/11 It was made official Monday. The juvenile justice center that could have created 90 jobs inside St. Landry Parish will instead be placed in Bunkie.
