228 schools in state fail to meet adequate yearly progress objectives

06/28/11 MANITOWOC Two schools in the Manitowoc School District Jefferson Elementary and Lincoln High School failed to make adequate yearly progress for 2010-11 under the federal No Child Left Behind Act, according to a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction website.

Junior colleges snapping up Lincoln's grid stars

07/19/11 Lincoln High School football coach Robert Hampton says that when a player tells him he wants to go to college, if they're committed, he'll do everything in his power to make it so. Hampton says that 10 of his seniors who helped the Lions reach the NJSIAA North 2, Group I title game last season are preparing to attend junior colleges next semester.
