07/17/11 In 1969, Glenn "Bo" Schembechler, son of Ohio and protege of Woody Hayes, was hired to coach football at the University of Michigan. Schembechler grabbed the thing by the collar and shook it from slumber. His first Michigan team presented him with his greatest victory, an upset over a previously undefeated Ohio State team, and so began The Ten-Year War.
