Portable classrooms to alleviate kindergarten crunch

07/09/11 The Ames Community School District board voted Tuesday to use portable buildings for vocal music at Fellows and Meeker elementary schools, freeing up classroom space needed to accommodate a larger-than-expected kindergarten class in the fall.
