New store is approved for Airport Drive

03/30/11 The plans for a new grocery store in Airport Drive has been approved. Fuel pumps will be added to the location as well. A realtor plans for the 32,000 square foot building to be built near the intersection at Highway 171 and Fir Road. The village chairman does not think the new grocery store will take away business from other nearby stores.

05/07/11 The Oneida Tribe of Indians is holding its first primary election from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at the Oneida Health Center, 525 Airport Drive in Hobart.

Sewer fees cause flap

07/07/11 Representatives of Airport Drive Village and Carl Junction say they have settled a dispute on sewage system fees that came to light over a request to hook in some FEMA trailers for displaced tornado survivors.
