Other news05/11/11 IUP seniors Frank Sirolli and Vern Powell have earned berths on the All-PSAC West first team in voting by the division's head coaches. The duo leads the Crimson Hawks into the conference tournament beginning today at Point Stadium in Johnstown.
05/28/11 The Indiana (Pa.) softball team was held to two hits in a loss to Midwestern State, ending the Crimson Hawks' first appearance in the Division II World Series.
06/19/11 Stefanie Poates of Yorktown played a key role this year as Indiana University of Pennsylvania enjoyed its finest softball season. Poates, a sophomore from Grafton High who can catch and play third base, played in 43 games, starting all but one of those, as the Crimson Hawks finished 38-8.
