CS8 Boys Tennis Player of the Year: Patrick Gaffigan, Springfield High

06/25/11 With a depleted roster that had just four players, it appeared the Springfield High School boys tennis team would have a below average season this spring. But the Senators never gave up. Springfield had an ace in the hole in the form of junior Patrick Gaffigan.

Stained glass artist reflects on her Springfield roots

06/30/11 When Kathy Walsh Jordan was inducted into the Springfield High School Arts Hall of Fame, the occasion was more important than it appeared on the surface. After an introduction and description of her considerable accomplishments as a stained glass artist, Jordan approached the podium for comments. From a small bag, she withdrew her diploma and mortarboard traditionally worn at graduation.
