    Scottsburg standoff ends peacefully

    07/13/11 The Scottsburg City Police Department responded to the 800 block of Allen Street on a welfare check of a child. When officers arrived, Donald J. Grose, 30, would not open the door and would not let officers check on the child, according to an Indiana State Police news release.
