Pender County News & Notes - Fishing tournament; volunteer training; autumn run/walk

07/17/11 WATHA | Camp Kirkwood hosted its first annual Fishing Tournament on July 9. Sixteen youngsters and 17 adults cast their lines for the largest fish in the 8-acre lake. Jade Mills won the blue ribbon in the youth category with an impressive 48-ounce bass. Also in the youth category was red ribboned Preston Corbett, 28-ounce bass, and white ribboned Patrick Emery, 24-ounce bass.
