07/19/11 As the Martin Luther King Jr., Memorial nears its dedication in Washington, a nation remembers a pioneer of the Civil Rights movement in the 1950s and 1960s. King's devotion to nonviolent protest in the face of vitriol and murder earned him a Nobel Peace Prize but it also took his life when King was assassinated.

Part of largest Marine Corps Reserve exercise of the year taking place in Yuma

07/19/11 With a makeshift command center on top of a mountain at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, approximately 1,200 Marines with the 4th Marine Aircraft Wing are currently participating in exercise Javelin Thrust 11 to sharpen long-distance command and communication techniques.
