RETAIL: Bimbo Bakeries closes five thrift stores in San Diego County

Entenmann's Donuts Recalled for Mold, Odd Smell

05/13/11 COMMENTARY | Baked goods don't stay fresh long. Preservatives like BHA, BHT, hydrogenated fat and transfat give packaged baked goods a longer shelf life, but they aren't foolproof. Bimbo Bakeries has recalled Entenmann's Pop 'Ems and Donitas donuts for mold and odd smell. The products are still within their expiration period.

Bimbo Offers Golden Card to Soccer Scholarships

06/02/11 Bimbo, a division of Bimbo Bakeries USA, is promoting health and education to youth through their soccer scholarship promotion. Beginning May 23, 2011, Bimbo Sweet Baked Goods will give away 30 soccer scholarships.
